The Company

Pampa Cheese is an Argentine company, situated in the largest dairy basin in South America.

We produce premium-quality Mozzarella, Light Mozzarella, Edam and Gouda cheese. Our high-quality cheeses are particularly easy to grate and slice. Our Mozzarella stretching and browning processes have been developed to meet the world´s highest standards.

Ingredients Pasteurized, semi-skimmed milk, culture of specific lactic bacteriae, curd, calcium chloride and sodium chloride.. Nutritional Information Portion: 30g. (1 slice). Energy value: 97 kcal= 407 kj. (4.9 %); carbohydrates 1.1 g. (0.4 %); protein 7.4 g (9.9 %); total fat 7.1 g (13%); saturated fat 3.8 g (17%); sodium 288 mg (12%).

It does not contain significant amounts of transfat and fibre food. (*) Daily values based on a diet of 2,000 kcal or 8,400 kj. Your daily values may be higher or lower based on your energy needs.

Industrial Plant At the end of june 2008, the industrial works of the new plant were finished. Its premises are equipped with the latest technology for mozzarella production, automated to minimize product contamination risk and maximize productivity.

The plant is located in the heart of the Argentine diary region. Its technology and the fact that it is a single-product mozzarella plant turns it into one of the most competitive and efficient worldwide. It has capacity to process 250000 litres of milk per day, which in the short term will be increased to 400000 litres per day (25 containers/ month). In order to supply the world’s most demanding markets, the plant will in turn be able to manufacture IQF (mozzarella in small cubes, suitable for pizza parlours).

Quality Pampa Cheese´s main objective is to manufacture and commercialize high-quality dairy products. To achieve this, Pampa Cheese has implemented HACCP; such norm outlines the requirements for the development, implementation and efficient management of a functional program to control potential hazards in the food industry specially in food processing. HACCP was created to assure the highest quality of food, based on commitment, training and human resources development and the best practices manufacturing (B.P.M) system. HACCP takes into consideration quality standards following those able to satisfy clients and comply with the legislation in force. Our efforts are focused on continuous improvement placing special emphasis on preventive action. This enables us to improve ourselves and exceed our customer’s expectations, encourage our suppliers´ growth and foster creativity, innovation and team work. Environment We have a strong commitment to our planet Regarding liquid effluents generated on the productive process, we reached an agreement with the local authorities by which domiciliary effluents are treated together with our industrial ones and the outcome of this merge is a mutual Benefit, as their stabilization is quicker and more efficient. Conscientious of the commitment with the environment, Pampa Cheese S.A. generates the necessary thermal energy through renewable fuels, as it is the case of the extracted firewood of artificial forests that renew in periods of 5 to 10 years.
